The meditative dexterity of weaving rhythms of thread, rope or jewels symbolise the notion of mounding a ‘second skin’ in Dani Marti’s Closer .His abstracts constructions hang from the wall, exuding sensuous patterns , the twisting synthetic fibres analogous to a strange style of portraiture. Marti also presents new video works, which deal with the same obsessions of portraiture and the hidden self.
